Depot Town Cats & Dogs is an independent pet supply store located just a hop and a skip from great shops, restaurants, and top notch dog-walking trails around Riverside and Frog Island Park! Lots of free parking and awesome sidewalks make this brick and mortar a great go-to for all your pet food, bedding, treats, toys, and accessories.
Our shop serves Ypsilanti and the greater Ann Arbor area. Many of our most faithful customers are locals from the neighborhood, while our events attract people from Grand Rapids to Toledo. We are able to deliver within the city limits of Ypsilanti on a limited basis.
A former revitalization nonprofit director, shop owner Holli Andrews has helped entrepreneurs shape thriving downtowns and vibrant local economies from Maine to Michigan. Andrews is known for invoking community-driven projects and has a reputation for celebrating mom and pop shops with unique local events. And now, Holli is joining the amazing cache of cool small businesses in Ypsi with her own shop, Depot Town Cats and Dogs.
Since 1992, Holli has rescued 3 beloved dogs —
A husky malamute named Natty (RIP you darlin’ blue-eyed freckled beauty).
Two “question marks” from the shelter —Arlo (Spicing up the rainbow bridge and prolly wreaking havoc as we speak) and Levi (6 years old and currently just loving life in Michigan).
Each a major source of JOY and all who hold a very special warm place in her heart.
With this new independent pet supplies brick and mortar, Andrews hopes to deepen her community connections with fellow small businesses and cool neighbors (humans and pets) in Depot Town. This shop and social hub will be fun, welcoming, and vibrant — a collaborative addition to the small biz commercial districts in Ypsilanti. Only the best products and always affordable.
